Okun not rushing decision

Zach Okun is just about to start his sophomore year of high school but the Newbury Park, Calif., offensive lineman is already 6-foot-4 and about 300 pounds.
UCLA has offered Okun, who camped with the Bruins, and he said it's been a relatively quiet summer but that first offer definitely captured his attention.

"I haven't talked really too much to UCLA since they've offered," Okun said. "It's gone pretty well with them so far.
"At the camp they were showing me a lot of love and showing a lot of interest. It was a surprise but after the camp I was hoping and waiting for it to come and it did."
Since his sophomore season has not even started, the 2015 prospect said he's nowhere close to considering a commitment and he wants to play out the recruiting process for a while before he gets serious about things.
After UCLA offered, some other schools including Oregon, Boston College and San Diego State have shown interest in Okun but he said the plan is to take it easy and not rush even though the process for him has been pushed up.
"I'm just kind of embracing it and going with the flow," Okun said.
"It doesn't really influence anything I do right now pretty much. I'm just waiting to talk to some other schools."
Arizona, Cal, Notre Dame, Stanford, Texas, USC and Washington are some other programs that have shown early interest in the 2015 standout.
