Oklahoma WR the areas hottest target

Ardmore (Okla.) Plainview receiver Justin Blackmon has possibly become the hottest target in the Heartland this fall after an amazing senior campaign. There are few players in the area that are now hotter on the field and hotter in the recruiting front.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound receiver with 4.57-second speed in the 40-yard dash, has racked up big numbers and is now racking up big numbers on the recruiting front.

"We're 11-0," Blackmon said. "We just won the first round of the playoffs. We play Seminole this week. I think we can pull it out. I haven't really heard that much about them. I feel good about how I've played. I've reached my goals that I set. I wanted to break 1,000 yards receiving and scoring 20 touchdowns."
And he's done that and then some.
"I think I have around 49 receptions for somewhere close to 1,300 yards," he said. "I have 22 touchdowns overall with around 11 or 12 of those touchdowns at receiver."
When it comes to recruiting, Blackmon has picked up two Big 12 offers in the past few weeks and it could be just the tip of the iceberg.
"I've been talking to Colorado and Missouri," Blackmon said. "They have both sent offers. Then Northern Iowa has offered me. I've also been in contact with OU and OSU."
"I haven't set any visits up yet. I'll set some up for after the season probably. I plan on visiting Colorado, Missouri and then maybe a trip to OU and OSU, too."
