“I’ve gotten a lot of calls,” the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Ray said. “Kansas, Arkansas, Notre Dame, Missouri, and some others.”
While Ray isn’t ready for a decision, several schools have laid scholarship offers on the table for him to ponder.
“I have offers from Nebraska, Kansas, West Virginia, and Tulsa. But I’m not ready to accept one. I want to make it through our season.”
Ray hasn’t lined up any official visits for this fall and winter yet, but he has in mind some places he’d like to visit.
“I was able to catch a few places this summer. I went to Nebraska, West Virginia, Kansas, Kansas State and Notre Dame. I think I would enjoy seeing some of those schools again this fall.”
Ray’s high school team got out of the blocks a little slow last week in the season opener.
“We lost our first game. I did catch five passes for 42 yards, though.”
