Oklahoma TE preparing for new work

Cordell, Okla. tight end Tyson Bryant is going to work his senior season at running back and safety like he has in previous years.
"I've told him that I feel he'll need to play tight end in college," Dave Bryant, Tyson's father said. "He has the frame that can hold the extra weight he'd need to be able to play at that position."

At 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, Bryant is a little bigger than your normal running back.
"He's bigger than you normally want a running back to be," Bryant said. "I think for that reason, teams will look at moving him to something like tight end."
Bryant has received plenty of attention already from college coaches, but his father has instructed him to take it in stride.
"I don't want him getting a big head or anything because of this. He's getting calls from college coaches and we just want him to make a level-headed decision."
The school calling Bryant include Oklahoma State, Wyoming, Kansas, Tulsa, TCU and Oral Roberts.
"He gets the calls and we really don't talk about it much. It doesn't look like it is affecting him at this early stage."
