Oklahoma TE looking at position change

Midwest City (Okla.) Carl Albert's J.D. Runnels is listed as the 35th best tight end in the country in the latest Rivals.com rankings. There is one problem with that. The 6-foot-1, 230-pounder is hearing more for his abilities at linebacker and fullback.
"It's still the same," Runnels said. "The same schools are calling. And more and more of them are talking about me being a fullback or a linebacker. I don't have a real preference. I just want to get on the field and play some football."
"I'm looking at K-State, Texas A&M, Kansas, Northwestern and Oklahoma. I'm going to visit A&M on Dec. 7."
