Oklahoma stars offer list climbs

Tulsa (Okla.) Edison athlete Terrell Williams has been a popular man this spring. The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder already has an impressive list of scholarship offers from Arkansas, Kansas State, Ole Miss, Northwestern and Stanford, but now things are starting to pick up rather quickly.
Late last week, Williams picked up even more offers.

"I picked up offers from Wyoming, New Mexico, Tulsa, Oregon State and Nebraska," Williams said.
Williams said he's pumped about the new attention.
"I think that they are all wonderful schools," he said. "But the Nebraska offer stands out the most because that has been one of my favorite teams since I was little.
"I would like to get to know more about Wyoming, Oregon State and New Mexico. But Nebraska stands out the most."
Why is that?
"I followed Nebraska a lot when I was younger," Williams said. "They're up there on my list now, but I don't want to name any favorites yet. I'm also still waiting to hear what's going to happen with Oklahoma and Oklahoma State."
What makes Williams special is that he could project at a number of different positions.
"I play quarterback, running back, wide receiver, strong safety, free safety and outside linebacker here," Williams said. "I think I will either play wide receiver or strong safety in college.
"I feel wide receiver will be my best position this next season here, but safety is my favorite position. I like safety because you get to hit people, and you can score if you pick off a pass."
