Oklahoma RB ready for work load

Hominy, Okla. running back Drew Crawford is eager for his senior season to begin and the work load that comes with the position.
"I've been the workhorse for the team," Crawford said. "Last year I carried the ball between 25 and 30 times a game last year. I finished up with 2,200 total yards and 37 touchdowns."

Totals like that garnered the attention of college recruiters from Oklahoma, Kansas, Rice, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, North Texas and SMU.
“I haven’t received any offers yet but I’m getting lots of calls and letters.”
While his football talents have pulled the attention of the above schools, his school work has grabbed the attention of others.
"Stanford, Harvard and Princeton have talked to me because of my academics. I have a 3.7 GPA entering next fall."
Crawford doesn't waste his running talents on the football field alone -- also competing in track.
"I have run an 11.0 seconds time in the 100-meter dash this year," Crawford said. "I think I can take advantage of my speed and my ball-carrying ability to get on the field and do well."
