Glenpool, Okla. running back Courtney Tennial has narrowed his list down to five schools.
"I am having a good year, personally," the 5-foot-10, 210-pound Tennial said. "I'm over 2,300 yards on the ground. Hopefully the numbers I have will attract a school enough to get me a scholarship offer."
With a few offers on the table, Tennial has narrowed his list to five.
"I am down to Kansas State, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Tennessee and Northwestern. Of those, Northwestern has offered me. I think when my season is over more of the offers will come."
Tennial has some skills on defense as well.
"I also play linebacker. But I think my future will be as a running back, carrying the ball."
Until his season is over, Tennial hopes to focus on his biggest goal for his final year of high school football.
"We've still got a chance at winning the state title. Our goal at the beginning was to win it all. We're still working, trying to win the school's first state championship this year."
