Oklahoma QB looking for another big year

Owasso, Okla. quarterback Paul Smith looks to ride a strong third year in a row on into college.
"I've done pretty good each of the last two seasons," Smith said. "My sophomore year, I had over 3,000 yards passing and 27 touchdowns. Then last season, I had almost 2,700 yards passing and 21 touchdowns."

The passing yardage has added up and Smith is within 1,200 yards of becoming the state's all-time leading passer. "That's a mark that would be nice to have, but I'm not focused on it."
The list of schools calling Smith is already a long one. Texas Tech, Miami, Colorado, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Baylor, Penn State and Texas A&M are the ones who are having the most communication so far.
Some of the schools have offered to line up official trips already, but so far no scholarship offers. Miami, Colorado and Texas Tech are trying to get trips scheduled, while others are waiting for the passing test score to get in line with offers.
