"Collier has announced he has committed to the University of New Mexico," his father, Kevin Winters, said.
"He still has a visit scheduled to Harvard in December, but he is committed to the Lobos now."
Winters, the No. 18 player in Oklahoma and the state's top-ranked quarterback, was also recruited by Air Force, Kansas, Ohio, Harvard and Utah State.
As a junior, Winters threw for 1,800 yards and 28 touchdowns.
