Oklahoma offer catches attention of FSU DT commit Robert Cooper

The Latest: Class of 2018 Rivals250 defensive tackle Robert Cooper has been committed to Florida State since last summer, but that hasn't stopped other schools from trying to recruit him. One of the programs that jumped into the mix this past week with an offers was Oklahoma. And while Cooper has shrugged off advances from other schools in the past, he admitted that the Sooners caught his eye. Rivals.com caught up with him to talk about the offer and how it might impact his commitment to the Seminoles.

In His Words: "This offer means a lot to me, especially coming from a top tier program. I love what they are doing with the program and the way it's going. I had a good relationship with Coach Steve Spurrier before he left then the relationship started to grow with Coach Cooks and Stoops, they are great coaches and men. I want to take a visit but I don't when I will visit yet."

Rivals Reaction: Cooper loves the 'Noles but even the most solid of early commitments have a tendency to take a look around and he is no different. The Sooners handed out a ton of offers this week to the Southeast's top prospects, the next step will be getting them on campus this offseason.
