Oklahoma LB headed to Stillwater

Haskell, Okla. linebacker Tyler Johnson made just one official visit during the recruiting process. And it was enough for him to make his college choice.
“He has committed to Oklahoma State,” coach Jim Reece said. “He visited there last weekend. He came back and has told all the coaches here at the school he is going to Oklahoma State next year. I hope to talk to him myself soon, but I haven’t yet.”

The 6-foot-2, 202-pound Johnson had also considered Tulsa and TCU.
“There have been other schools calling too,” Reece said. “Oklahoma had called earlier. But, he’s going to be a Cowboy.”
