Oklahoma FB changes mind
Once an Aggie. Now a Sooner. That's the story for one of the better fullback prospects in the Midlands.
Midwest City (Okla.) Carl Albert fullback J.D. Runnels confirmed that he has committed to Oklahoma earlier this evening in a move that really came as no surprise.

Carl Albert has had its fair share of football stars through the years. Among them was Mike Gaddis, a powerful yet smooth-gliding running back who eventually starred at Oklahoma.
Runnels is his nephew, so it was no surprise when coach Gundy at Oklahoma offer him yesterday that he wasted little time jumping on the offer - even though he was committed to Texas A&M.
"In Oklahoma, you're Sooner Born and Sooner Bred," Runnels said. "The offer was just too good to pass up. This is a dream come true."
Runnels also received scholarship offers this week from Oklahoma State and Kansas.
