Oklahoma DE adds Big 12 offer
Stillwater, Okla., defensive end Russell Brorsen has recently added the first scholarship offer to his list of schools.
“I’ve had a little bit of a new development,” the 6-foot-4, 235-pound Brorsen said. “I have an offer from Kansas, now. That’s the biggest new news. They are my only offer so far.”

The offer vaulted the Jayhawks to the top of Brorsen’s list.
“They are at the top of my list,” he said. “They’re a good team that has been close to winning every game this year. I’m going to visit there sometime after football. I have to work around wrestling for my visit, though. But, I’ll get it done.”
Despite the Hawks’ emergence as his leader, Brorsen isn’t ready to pull the trigger and end the recruiting process.
“I’m not close to committing yet, but they are at the top of my list. I’m not ready to commit quite yet. I want to listen and see what else happens, and I want to take a trip up there to see it.”
Through the first four games, Brorsen has recorded 29 tackles and 4 ½ sacks.
“We’ve been coming out at half time because we’ve been up so many points. That has cut my numbers down some, but that’s alright. We’re winning.”
