Oklahoma CB visits K-State

Muskogee, Okla., cornerback Vernon Scott has been on the go during the month of January. He took his first official visit last weekend when he traveled to Arkansas and followed that up this weekend with his second visit when he traveled to Kansas State.
"It was real cool," the 6-foot, 170-pound Scott said. "I'm not nearing any sort of a choice in football.

"Kansas State is a lot like what Arkansas told me. They offered some people before me and are waiting to hear from them before they can offer me or not. I am expecting to hear from them by Wednesday of this week."
Scott, a two-star rated recruit, holds a scholarship offer to Oklahoma for track. He specializes in the 200-meter and 400-meter runs.
As a senior, Scott registered 60 tackles and seven pass break-ups.
