Oklahoma athlete thinking of more trips

Lawton (Okla.) Eisenhower three-star athlete De'von Bailey has already taken one official visit and has had another one lined up for Kansas on Dec. 8.
But now that his senior season is over it looks like a few other schools are vying for a visit.

"OSU, OU, Kansas State, Kansas and Vanderbilt have been contacting me the most lately," he said. "As a matter of fact I'm supposed to get out to Vanderbilt the next weekend after Kansas. It's not officially set up yet, but we've been talking about for that next weekend."
Bailey is still holding out hope that either OU or OSU will ask him to come on an official visit. He said he's not talked with the Sooner coaches in a few weeks and the Cowboys aren't sure when they would bring him in on a trip.
Bailey did get a chance to watch the Bedlam game on Saturday between the Sooners and Cowboys.
"They wanted me to come down there, but I was out of town," Bailey said. "It was exciting for both teams. They always get pumped up there in Stillwater. It was crackin. You could tell by watching it that it was a great setting."
Bailey admits he was glad to see an in-state school win the Big 12 South title.
"I think it's great," he said. I'm an OU fan so I think it's great."
