Putnam City (Okla.) North all-purpose back Aaron Ivey is performing well on the football field this fall, but it appears the baseball diamond will be his college home.

"I have taken two official visits already," the 5-foot-8, 161-pound Ivey said. "They were to Arkansas and to Nebraska for baseball. I'm getting recruited more in baseball than football."
Ivey is also receiving attention from Wichita State, Baylor and Oklahoma for baseball.
"If it worked out I wouldn't mind being able to give both sports a shot. But the opportunity is there more for baseball at this time. So I guess I am leaning that way."
As for a favorite, Ivey didn't hesitate.
"Arkansas would be my favorite right now. I have talked to their coaches about possibly going both ways there. They didn't have a problem with it. We could see how it goes and go from there."
A few school are recruiting Ivey for football.
"I get some mail for football. Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas State and Nebraska. But not much other than just letters."
