Bobby Okereke is prepared to make his commitment.
The three-star prospect from Tustin (Calif.) Foothill is only days away from his pledge as he still plans to wait until Saturday evening on Twitter to make his announcement.
"I'm ready," Okereke said.
"It's been a long process and I've been picking up offers. About two or three weeks ago I decided on the one school I wanted to go to and then I started weighing all the other schools I was considering against that school, seeing the academic side, the coaches, the players and how it feels against all the schools."
Many believe it's a race between USC and Stanford for Okereke's services but the 6-foot-3, 215-pound prospect said many other programs are still in the running. He's not counting any of his top seven out just yet.
The Tustin Foothill standout doesn't plan to tip his hand one way or the other so until this weekend, Okereke said he's still going to look at programs across the country.
"Those are two schools I could definitely see myself at but I wouldn't throw out Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Cal, Oregon and Washington," Okereke said. "All those seven schools I can see myself at next year."
Word is already out but not publicly yet.
The three-star prospect said he has already informed coaches at the school where he will commit about his intentions but Okereke said he doesn't want to announce anything about his decision until this weekend.
"The school I'm going to commit to already knows I'm going to commit, it's just when I'm going to make it verbal," Okereke said.
