Okam answers the big questions

Will he or won’t he? Is he or isn’t he? That’s the questions that loom with Richardson (Texas) Lake Highlands five-star defensive tackle Franklin Okam.
Will he or won’t he take January official visits?

And is he or isn’t he a heavy lean to the Texas Longhorns?
Those are all questions Okam tries to answer.
“I’ve known for about a week that I was going to visit Oklahoma on January 23, but I also went ahead and set up Florida on January 16,” Okam, who is 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, said.
“Those will probably the only two visits that I take in January. Oklahoma and Florida are two schools that I’ve been talking about for quite some time.”
Now the big question from Okam is whether or not he’s still a lean to the Texas Longhorns? Okam said he does list Texas No. 1 on his list, but he said he does have a plan in mind.
“I want to take my visits in January,” Okam said. “I’m not going to commit until I take those visits. I want something to compare Texas, too, and I owe it to myself to see what these other schools are like.”
Okam earned all-district honors as a senior and a junior.
