Okafor still searching

Houston (Texas) Westbury offensive tackle Mickey Okafor certainly has the scholarship offers to be one of the top uncommitted recruits in the state.
Recently, he added a verbal scholarship offer from Nebraska and returned from his second official visit to Texas Tech. Okafor says that he's also still committed to Houston, but is really looking at all options.

"My top three is Houston, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State," Okafor said. "I'm going to Oklahoma State to watch them play Oklahoma (Nov. 24). That should be a good game."
Texas Tech was the last school he visited and it definitely impressed the 6-foot-6, 290-pounder.
"Man, they've got the wildest crowd ever," Okafor said. "That thing is packed. They have nice facilities too. The coaches are great and the players are cool. I really liked it."
Regardless of the previous visits and the ones upcoming, Okafor says he's still committed to Houston.
"I am, but I'm looking," Okafor said. "I'm just seeing how things go."
There will be plenty of time to feel things out. Okafor says that though he says a decision could be a spontaneous event, he most likely will commit in January.
