Houston (Texas) Westbury offensive tackle Mickey Okafor has had quite the recruiting process so far and things just got even more interesting after this weekend.
First, the 6-foot-6, 290-pound Okafor was a Houston commit for quite a long time. Then, in late November after an official visit, the talented Texan made a commitment to Oklahoma State. This past weekend, he made one more official visit to Houston and enjoyed his time.
So where are things now?

"I'm not going to say anything about a commitment right now," Okafor said. "January is when I'm going to let everybody know where I'm going."
The trip to Houston, no matter where his commitment is right now, apparently had an effect on him.
"I had a lot more fun on this trip than the previous times I had been there," Okafor said. "At first I didn't think it would be much different because it's still here in Houston, but it was crazy there and the fans were wild. I've always liked the coaches. Especially like coach Randy Clements."
Okafor is also not apparently done with visits. A new offer may be coming from another Big 12 school and he may be taking a trip there before his recruiting process is over.
"I'm probably going to Oklahoma," Okafor said. "Coach James Patton said he was going to offer me after they look over some things. That will be my last one. It's the last one I have."
It appears the story will continue for Okafor for a few more weeks at minimum.
