Ohioan Says He Hasnt Committed Yet

Wide receiver Dave Vickers (6'1 180 4.45) from Akron Buchtel (OH) caught 32 passes last season and averged 28 yards a catch. A recent newspaper article listed him as a Georgia Tech commitment. Vickers however said that is not quite the case just yet.

"The guy from the paper, I think he kind of assumed I committed to Georgia Tech because I said they are my favorite and if I made a commitment right now it would be them," Vickers said. "I haven't committed yet. But I probably will before the season starts or right around the beginning. Georgia Tech is my favorite. Tennessee, Notre Dame, Kentucky, Pitt, Louisville, Duke, and Cincinnati are the other schools I'm looking at. Georgia Tech, Pitt, Louisville, Duke, and Cincinnati have offered me."
