Ohio WR lands two offers

When it rains it pours.
That's the case for Cincinnati (Ohio) Turpin receiver Andy Cruse.

After going through the spring evaluation process with plenty of attention but no scholarship offers, things rapidly have changed on that front over the past few days.
"Andy got his first offer from Miami of Ohio this week," Cruse's father, Mark Cruse, said.
"Then he got his second offer the next day from the University of Cincinnati. It's been an exciting few days for all of us here."
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound receiver had 44 receptions for 1,143 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior, allowing him to earn first-team all-conference, first-team all-city and first-team all-district honors. He also was a second-team all-state selection.
All of those accolades were enough to finally draw the first two offers, plus he's received plenty of attention from other schools like Indiana, West Virginia, Purdue, Western Michigan and Akron.
Cruse did say he grew up a fan of Cincinnati, but he's not in a major rush to make a college decision.
