Ohio WR could be getting close

The end is getting closer for three-star receiver Briggs Orsbon of Convoy (Ohio) Crestview. The 6-foot, 180-pounder said he could have a final decision here within the next week.
"I think I'm getting close to making my decision," Orsbon, the nation's No. 80 receiver and No. 35 player in Ohio, said.

"Nothing is official yet, but that's what I'm leaning toward. I've still got Ball State really high on my list, and Purdue is supposed to be getting back t me here in the next few days.
"I should know something here pretty quickly."
With football now behind him, Orsbon is already focused on his next sport. He's the point guard for the Crestview basketball team.
"I'm more of a football-baseball guy," Orsbon said. "I was also conference player of the year in baseball last year, but I'm athletic and kind of a lock-down guy on defense."
Orsbon has scholarship offers from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Ohio, Toledo, Air Force and others. Purdue has been flirting with offering him all season. He rushed for 1,771 yards and 24 touchdowns as a senior at the quarterback spot. He also threw for 977 yards and five additional scores.
