Maple Heights, Ohio wide receiver Charles Brown was originally committed to Bowling Green until he received recent interest from UConn and North Carolina. Now the 5-foot-9, 187-pounder has committed to play in the ACC.
"I committed to North Carolina just a few minutes ago," said Brown. "I visited UNC a weekend ago and then I visited UConn this past weekend. They were both great visits and it was a tough decision, but after thinking about it UNC was the best fit for me academically, athletically and with the coaching situation."
Brown wasn't sure of his decision until Monday morning.

"I went to bed last night and I had no idea where I was going," he said. "Then I woke up this morning and it was clear to me. I'm very happy it's over, this can be so stressful."
Brown points to the coaches at UNC as a big reason for his decision.
"Coach Thigpen was my recruiter and he's a great guy and talking to coach Davis and learning about his offense, that sold me."
Brown runs a sub 4.5-second 40-yard dash and could also play defensive back.
