Ohio State impresses Diggs

Olney (Md.) Good Counsel wide receiver Stefon Diggs took a short official visit to Ohio State this weekend, leaving Saturday after he took the SAT and returning early Sunday evening. However, head coach Urban Meyer didn't need long to impress the nation's No. 8 player.
"I felt comfortable at Ohio State and met a lot of people," said the 6-foot-0, 185-pounder who is ranked as the nation's No. 2 wide receiver. "I like the direction they are going in. I had a great conversation with Braxton Miller. He is a very humble kid. The thing that jumped out at me the most was the high intensity and the positive energy that was brought in by coach Mick (Micky Marotti) the strength coach. I knew him from before so it was nice to see him again, I met him down at Florida at Friday Night Lights."

Diggs was also impressed with Meyer.
"Meyer is a great guy with his plan great things will happen at Ohio State," Diggs said. "He's done great things with a great group of guys in the past and with the right tools he will bring something special to the Big Ten."
Diggs has already taken official visits to Cal, Auburn and Florida and has now seen Ohio State. Next up is Maryland next weekend and then a decision on Feb. 10. Without a leader, the process is becoming more and more difficult for Diggs.
"I have a lot of thinking to do, I know that." he said.
