In His Words: “Ohio State is really hot on me. Coach Hodges (Ohio State assistant director of player personnel) and I have been talking a lot and building a bond. We talk about our families and stuff like that, not just football. I went to an Ohio State game this year and it was really impressive. The fans, the atmosphere, it was really amazing to see. I was there for the Indiana game. It was really cool. It took us about 8 hours to get there. But it wasn’t a bad drive. We’re used to making drives like that so it wasn’t that bad. We had a fun trip. Probably one of my favorite players of all-time is Orlando Pace and he played at Ohio State. I go on YouTube and watch his high lights. I watch him all the time. That’s who I look up to so to have a chance to play at the same school as him would be special.”

On other programs: “I’m still talking to Tennessee and LSU a lot. There’s a lot of other schools reaching out too, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Clemson and Kentucky.”

Rivals Reaction: Tucker figures to be one of the top players at his position by the time his class is ranked so it’s not a surprise that Buckeyes are showing interest. When it’s all said and done Tucker will have 20-plus offers so it seems like a matter of if, not when they will join his list. Time will tell if Ohio State can be a real factor in his recruitment.
