Ohio standout ready to pop

One of Ohio's top prospects is back from a trip to Maryland and enjoyed himself. A decision could come by Wednesday.
"I had a nice time at Maryland over the weekend," said Andrew Crummey, one of the top offensive tackles in the Midwest. "It was pretty much the usual deal. We toured the facilities, checked out the academics -- it was a good learning experience."

Crummey's host was Jeff Dugan, a junior tight end who has started three consecutive seasons. Does Crummey have a leader?
"I would say Maryland is who I'm looking at right now," said the 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive guard. "They're my favorite. I still hear from Boston College and Wake Forest, so I'm not ruling them out, but right now Maryland has to be number one.
"They have a really good program and facilities, and the staff really has a commitment to winning and building a successful team year after year."
When can we expect a decision from Crummey, who is rated the No. 20 overall player from the talent-rich state of Ohio?
"I think my decision is actually going to be tomorrow," laughed Crummey. "I'm going to talk things over tonight with all the people I've been dealing with and everyone who has helped me in this process. I should have a decision tomorrow."
So will Maryland receive some good news from Crummey tomorrow?
"I think I'm going to hold on off saying anything about that," he laughed. "They're number one right now, but there are still a couple of others schools I've mentioned that are still in the running. I haven't come to a final decision yet, but I'm pretty close. I'll just leave it at that."
