Ohio RB visits Clemson

Cincinnati (Ohio) Winton Woods class of 2015 running back Marcus Davis has been checking out southern schools in recent months. His most recent trip took him to Clemson to see the Tiger's home contest last Saturday.
"It was real, real exciting," Davis said of the Clemson visit. "It was a great atmosphere and I liked it. I am supposed to send them film [this week]."

The 5-foot-9, 202-pound running back still awaits his first offer, but is hearing from a number of schools around the country. He visited an SEC school a few weeks back, and that experience has him looking south.
"One of my top picks is Georgia," Davis said. "I like the atmosphere down there. I feel I would be a good addition to their offense and like the offense they run."
Davis technically lives in Big Ten country, but is on the border of SEC territory. Where in the country he plays is not a factor he expects to factor in, though.
"As long as I get to play, I am looking for a good coaching staff, great atmosphere and obviously academics," Davis said.
Davis helped Winton Woods to a 5-0 record last week with a win over Dayton Thurgood Marshall. Although his rushing output was not as high as previous games, Davis still ranks second in the Cincinnati area with 816 rushing yards.
"I could have done more from my part, but I was just happy we pulled out the win and slowed down a tricky offense," Davis said.
