Dayton (Ohio) Chaminade standout Javon Ringer is one of a couple talented prospects at his school. The 5-foot-9 and 190 pound running back rushed for 2028 yards his sophomore year and another 2356 yards during his junior season. Both years he averaged over 10 yards per carry, and both years he scored 30 times.
Ringer, along with defensive back teammate Brandon Harrison, both were impressive at the NIKE Training Camp at Ohio State in April, and both have landed scholarship offers since then.
"Western Michigan, Cincinnati, Iowa, Miami of Ohio, and I believe Kentucky have offered," Ringer said. "Tennessee said they're going to offer. Oklahoma said they have a lot of interest. And so does Florida."
