Ohio RB hoping for offer

Much earlier in the recruiting process things were looking pretty good for Brook Park (Ohio) Midpark running back Jamaine Cook.
The 5-foot-9, 195-pound prospect from the Buckeye State picked up an early offer from Bowling Green but things have changed more recently.

"Right now I don't have any offers on the table. I had an offer from Bowling Green but a new coaching staff came in," he said.
"I don't know if they're still going to honor that. Recently I went to Northern Illinois and they're supposed to offer me soon. I'm waiting on that right now. That's basically where I stand."
Cook rushed for 1,500 yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior at Midpark. In all he accounted for 2,008 yards of all-purpose offense.
"I don't have too much else going on. I'm supposed to go on a visit to Youngstown before too long and I've heard from Ohio a little bit, but nothing too much.
"Northern Illinois has really shown the most interest. I went on that official visit there and I talk to them every week. They flew me up to their school and I had a very good time. I talk to the head coach constantly. We've got a really close relationship."
