Ohio RB has been busy

Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne two-star running back Troy Gilmer rushed for more than 800 yards on his way to a big 2006 season. Now the 6-foot-1, 203-pounder hopes that big season translates to even more attention from the college coaches.
"I've got one offer from Western Michigan," Gilmer said. "And I've been hearing from basically all the MAC schools and teams like Indiana, Buffalo, Akron, Miami. I've also been hearing from Ohio a lot.

"My top teams would be Ohio State, Western Michigan, Miami, Ohio, Ball State, Indiana and Akron."
Gilmer has been busy hitting a few camps this summer.
"I went to the Ohio State camp about a week or two ago," he said. "I think I did pretty good. I felt good about my performance. I also went to Western Michigan's camp, and I went to the Cincinnati camp. I'm not sure who else might offer, but I think Ohio might. As far as the other ones, I think they are just waiting to maybe see my senior season."
"I don't have any more plans for camps, but I might try and take a few visits. I'm not sure where to yet though. I'll probably make a decision in the middle of the season or somewhere toward the end of it."
Gilmer is excited about the 2007 season.
"We're looking really good," Gilmer said. "We should do pretty good this year. We should make a good run in the playoffs. Hopefully we can make it to state and bring home a championship.
"I'm working hard to improve my speed, quickness and agility probably."
