Ohio QB Nelson names top two

Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville quarterback Arvell Nelson is one of over a half dozen major college prospects at his school. The 6-foot-5, 180 pounder missed five games during his junior season with cracked ribs, but still threw for 1600 yards. Nelson connected for 13 touchdowns with just five interceptions.
"I have six offers," Nelson said. "North Carolina, Michigan State, Eastern Michigan, Bowling Green, Kent, and Toledo. I'm looking at all of them.

"And I'm looking at Syracuse, Iowa, Purdue, Wisconsin, and Ohio State.
"I went to Wisconsin and Michigan State's junior days. I went to Akron's camp. I'm going to about ten different schools of camps this summer."
Nelson has received phone calls this month from coaches from Indiana, Bowling Green, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Toledo, Kent, Syracuse, Iowa, and Eastern Michigan.
Asked if he has a favorite school, Nelson said, "I like Ohio State and Wisconsin. Both of them have been to my school. I'm going to OSU's camp this summer. We're going to try and make it up to Wisconsin for camp too."
