Ohio QB makes a commitment
Quarterback John Ferguson had been leaning towards Akron. He has now decided to commit to the Zips.
Ferguson had been drawing interest from a number of Big Ten schools inlcuding Indiana, Iowa, and Michigan State before deciding to stay in-state to play his college football, saying he likes the atmosphere at Akron.
The 6-foot-6 and 215 pounder from Reynoldsburg, Ohio played in a wishbone offense during his senior season so his numbers went down. He threw for 700 yards and six touchdowns.
