Ohio QB Davis close to a commitment

Bellaire, Ohio, quarterback Nate Davis has made one decision, which sport he will play in college, and may be on the verge of another big decision, which college he will play for.
Davis, who also has drawn recruiting interest for his talents on the basketball court, talks about his status.
"Toledo, Cincinnati, and Bowling Green," Davis said. "I've narrowed it down to those three. Toledo and Bowling Green have offered.
"I'm going to see Cincinnati play Nov. 5. I might make official visits to all three.
"Toledo's my favorite. They were the first to offer. They offered my sophomore year. I'm close to committing. I might commit to Toledo pretty soon.
"I'm definitely playing football in college."
The 6-foot-3 and 215-pound Davis is the No. 15 dual-threat quarterback in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 30 prospect in the state of Ohio.
Davis has led his team to a 7-0 record. He has thrown for over 1300 yards and rushed for another 300.
