"I have about 10 or 11 (scholarship) offers right now. I've got it down to about five schools. Iowa, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Syracuse, and North Carolina. Right now that's my top five. All of them except Ohio State have offered.
"The other ones that offered are lower.
"I don't have a favorite really. I'm going to wait and go through my visits."
Asked what will be important in his college selection, Nelson said, "How well I get along with the coaches. Whether the school has my major, sports management. And a school that fits my style of play and I can play early."
The 6-foot-5 and 180 pound Nelson threw for 1600 yards during his junior season despite missing five games with cracked ribs. Nelson connected for 13 touchdowns with five interceptions.
