Ohio OL still favors Gamecocks

Offensive lineman Steve Miller hasn't landed any scholarships from schools in the six BCS conferences yet, but he's still holding out hope. For the time being, the Gamecocks remain at the top of his list.
"I've liked them for a really long time," said Miller, of Lou Holtz's Gamecock program. "The coaching staff is as good as it gets and I like their physical style of play. They're having a solid year and with all the young talent they have I think they'll be contenders in the future."

Miller, a 6-foot-5, 270-pound offensive lineman from Cleveland (Oh.) St. Ignatius, currently has offers from Ohio, Miami of Ohio, Cincinnati and Kent State.
"Those four schools are all great places and have solid programs," he said. "If I end up at a place like that I'll be happy and work to be an All-American. But if I get the chance I would like to play in one of the major conferences. That's why I like schools like South Carolina and Northwestern. Those two are probably my favorites, but those others aren't far behind."
Miller hasn't set up any official visits yet, but would like to. St. Ignatius finished the season with a 9-3 mark and Miller anchored a solid offensive line.
