Ohio OL makes pick

Lexington, Ohio, two-star offensive tackle Marc Stevens was asked to name a few reasons why he recently committed to Bowling Green. However, the 6-foot-6, 295-pounder couldn't stop at just a few.
"It was just the right fit for me," Stevens, ranked as 5.2 on the Rivals Rating Scale, said. "I love coach Campbell, the offensive line coach. I also really like coach Brandon and the offensive coordinator is originally from Lexington, so that made it a great fit, too. I know some of the other big offensive line recruits they've got coming in, so I wanted to be part of a really great class.

"I'm pumped about all the good players they've got coming in."
The reasons didn't stop there.
"It's a good school academically," he said. "I can do what I want to do academically there. It's just a great fit also because my family can come and see me, and I have a ton of friends up there."
With his pledge out of the way, Stevens, who was also offered by Akron, Ball State, Central Michigan, Kent, Marshall, Ohio and Western Michigan, can now focus on finishing out his senior season.
"We won the other night 58-3," he said. "We're steamrolling people. We have the best offense and the best defense in the league. Everybody is playing great, and we're going be tough to beat in the playoffs."
