Ohio OL lands another offer

Toledo (Ohio) St. Johns offensive lineman Ben Burkett, one of top prospects in the greater Toledo area, continues to add to his scholarship offer list.
"I have four offers now," Burkett said. "Toledo, Akron, Miami of Ohio, and most recently Ball State have offered. I'm looking at all four."
Burkett is looking at other schools too.
"I'm looking at a lot of Big Ten schools," he said. "I visited Northwestern. I talk to the coaches. I really liked it.
"I liked Purdue and their campus. I like Michigan. I talked to their coach (Tuesday). Earlier this year I made a trip out to Iowa."
Burkett will be in Columbus this weekend.
"On Friday I'm going down to Ohio State for the NIKE Camp," Burkett said. "I'll probably go to some one-day camps this summer like Michigan and Purdue."
The 6-foot-4 and 260-pound Burkett has been an all-city and all-district selection since his sophomore year. Burkett has played both guard and tackle, and could play either position in college.
