Centerville, Ohio, offensive lineman Jake Feldmeyer is one of those talented offensive linemen that often get overlooked by the other top-flight players in Ohio, but he, too, is getting heavily recruited.
After already having offers from Akron and Kent State on the table, he's landed new offers from quite a few more schools.
"I also have offers from Eastern Michigan, Miami of Ohio and UConn," Feldmeyer, who is 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds, said. "Uconn was the other day, and Miami happened last Saturday and Eastern Michigan was just like last Monday or so. These are all pretty new."
Feldmeyer is also getting good attention from other schools that have yet to offer.
"I've been talking to UC, Vanderbilt, Miami of Florida and Central Michigan the most," he said. "Everybody says they are close to offering, so so I don't know. UC said they want me to come to their camp. Centerville runs the option and it's like 98 percent run, so they want to see my feet and see if I can pass block."
Feldmeyer has already hit a few places this spring
"Yeah, I just went to (Ohio's) camp this past weekend on Sunday," he said. "I'm going to UC's in two weeks. I think I'm going to go to Purdue, Indiana and Vanderbilt also."
Feldmeyer said he has a few things the perfect school will have when it comes time to make a decision.
"A good coaching staff and good academics are probably the two main things," he said. "I want a coaching staff I can gel with. My parents have been great through the whole process. My dad made a highlight reel for me and is getting it out there and stuff. They're both very supportive.
"It would be nice to make it before the season so I can get it out of the way, but at the same time you don't want to rush into anything so I don't know."
