Ohio OL has leader

West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West two-star offensive guard Andrew Phelan has a good list of offers from teams like Bowling Green, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Ohio and Toledo, and it's one of those schools on that list that has him thinking about making an early decision.
"Toledo definitely is my top team," Phelan, who is 6-foot-4 and 279 pounds, said. "I've been up there twice already and really liked it. Then I like South Florida as well. But I've been thinking about committing to Toledo. I want to see the game day atmosphere and everything and see if I get that right feeling."

If he does, don't be surprised if he commits. Then again, he's also interested by the interest he's getting from South Florida. Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Akron are other schools that have expressed interest in him, too.
On the season, Phelan said he's pleased with his play so far.
"I've had a handful of pancakes," he said. "I feel like I've made a lot of progress and have really stepped up my game. I'm definitely stronger and more athletic than what I was last year."
