Ohio OL commits to Big East

Cleveland (Ohio) St. Ignatius has been good to one east coast team over the last decade and offensive lineman Kevin Sheridan is continuing the pipeline. The 6-foot-4, 265-pounder has made his decision.
“I committed to Boston College this weekend,” said Sheridan, who also had offers from Louisville, Toledo, Bowling Green and Indiana among others and will play center at BC. “When BC offered me a few weeks back, I told myself I’d commit if I really liked it. The chance to get a great education and the BC offensive line tradition was too much to pass up. I had a great time on my visit and I decided that BC was where I wanted to be. I was hosted by Pat Ross who is also from Ohio and is also a center.”
Sheridan joins former St. Ignatius stars Scott Mutryn and Chris Hovan as Eagles. Mutryn was a starter for BC at quarterback in the mid 1990’s while Hovan starred at defensive tackle at BC and is currently with the Minnesota Vikings.
