Ohio OL all about the effort

Macedonia (Ohio) Nordonia offensive center Kevin Kowalski picked up an early scholarship offer from Toledo and to this day it remains his only scholarship offer, but he's working hard at doing what he can to change that.
"I went to the Pitt camp this summer, and I think I did a good job," Kowalski said. "I think they were pretty pleased with how I did. I would definitely put Pitt and Toledo as my top two teams."

Illinois, Indiana, Syracuse and Bowling Green are also involved, and he's got a few important things in mind with the perfect school.
"I definitely want to play for a great football program, but also a good academic program," he said. "I plan on committing after my senior season, so I can see what else develops for me."
So why do the coaches like him?
"It's because the effort I give," he said. "I give all I got every play no matter what the challenges are. My team is looking pretty good for this upcoming season. My goal is to win a state championship, and I want to do whatever I can to make that happen. I'm going to give all the effort I can to make it happen."
