Ohio lineman lands Big Ten offer

"I played tight end and defensive end this season," Massillon (Ohio) Perry offensive lineman Kirk Barton said. "I'm like an extra tackle. We run the ball constantly. I'll definitely be a tackle in college."
"I was offered by Northwestern today. Pitt offered last week. And Purdue's coming to my game Saturday. No pressure there."

"And I'm looking at Vanderbilt and Bowling Green since they're doing so good. They've both offered."
"And I'm definitely interested in Ohio State. If Ohio State offered I'd probably commit. But I might still take my visits just to be sure. Ohio State's my favorite."
The 6-foot-6 and 265 pound Barton will be in Columbus this weekend as his Perry team takes on Dublin Scioto in the first round of the state playoffs. Perry finished the regular season 9-1.
