Ohio LB unsure about his future at Cincinnati

Earlier this month, Centerville, Ohio linebacker Will Johnson committed to Cincinnati. The 6-foot-1, 191-pounder's future is now uncertain since head coach Mark Dantonio is headed to Michigan State.
"I can say it's a big promotion for coach Dantonio," he said. "As far as me, I don't know who the next head coach will be and I think I'm pretty open in recruiting again. I will see I'm still committed just a little bit, but I'm definitely going to look around.

"I talked to coach Dantonio already. He called and said he'll see what he can do with numbers. He is considering bringing some of us along with him to Michigan State."
Would Johnson follow Dantonio to State if given the chance?
"It's hard to say, but I'll definitely look at Michigan State if that happens," he said. "I'm also looking at West Virginia, Marshall, Eastern Michigan and Ohio. West Virginia hasn't offered, but they seem really interested and I am planning on going there for the game this weekend against Rutgers.
"On that visit, I just want to see more of the campus and tour the stadium. I'd also like to get to know the players some more."
At the moment, the two-star prospect is still a soft commitment to the Bearcats.
"I like the location, it's close to home," he said. "I also can say I did really like the place and facilities and I loved my recruiting coordinator, but if they all leave I don't want to stay around."
Johnson helped Centerville to an 8-2 record this season.
"I did pretty well and finished the year earning first team all-area and all-Southwest Ohio," he said. "I ended up with 700 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns. I'm not sure on my defensive statistics, but I was happy with my play and I think my cover skills were better. My speed also picked up a bit."
