Ohio LB to visit Northwestern Saturday

Clyde, Ohio, linebacker Eric Schwartz leaves no doubt he would like to be an Ohio State Buckeye. But he is headed for Northwestern this weekend.
"Ohio State called a week or two ago," Schwartz said. "Ohio State is still my favorite, but I don't know what's going to happen with the other guys on their board."

If things don't work out with the Buckeyes, Schwartz is making contingency plans.
"Miami and Cincinnati are moving up," he said. "And Akron is another one I'm interested in. All of them basically say they will get more serious after the season."
Schwartz has checked out most of the schools he is interested in.
"I went to the Ohio State-Iowa game," Schwartz said. "I went to the Miami-Akron game and the Akron-Central Michigan game. That's the ones I've been to so far.
"I'm going to Northwestern this weekend. They play Michigan. Northwestern is an option too, but I haven't had as much contact with them as the other schools."
