Ohio LB moving up charts

After a strong senior season, one of the hottest prospects in the state of Ohio is linebacker Steve Greer. The 6-foot-2, 218-pound two-star prospect already had scholarship offers from Army and Eastern Illinois, but he recently added another solid offer to his list, according to his father.
"Steve just got offer from coach Ben Miller at Air Force Academy on Monday night," Jim Greer said.

Greer said a big reason why his stock has improved with coaches is his improved play on the field as a senior.
"I think last year I was alright, and this year I just busted my butt in the off season," he said. "The main thing was just the off season and working hard."
Greer is talking to a lot of schools and more offers could still be on the way.
"I am pretty much talking to all the colleges, all the MAC schools, all the Big East schools, a couple of Big Ten schools," he said. "I have been talking to Northwestern, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Iowa, Michigan State, there are just a lot of schools I am talking to."
