Ohio LB having busy spring

Lima (Ohio) Shawnee linebacker Zac Rosenbauer was looking forward to a strong junior season in order to attract the attention from college coaches. Unfortunately for him, that showing did not come.
"I missed my junior season," the 6-foot-2, 236-pound Rosenbauer said. "I didn't play at all last year. I broke my collar bone in a scrimmage. I'm all ready go now."

All healed up and ready for his upcoming season, Rosenbauer is looking at colleges this spring.
"I went to a junior day at Akron (this past weekend)," he said. "I visited Bowling Green last week. I went to Cincinnati's junior day already, too and I am planning on going to Northwestern, too.
"I am getting letters from most everyone in the Midwest. A lot of Big 10 schools and several schools from the SEC, too."
At this point, no school has emerged as a leader for Rosenbauer.
"I don't know if I have a favorite school. I have a top five list right now. Of the schools that have offered it is between Akron and Bowling Green. If all things were equal Cincinnati, Northwestern, Stanford, Duke and Boston College.
"I have been talking to Northwestern. Stanford has been in twice to see me and the coach who was at Akron is now at Boston College. I spoke with the coach at Duke a couple days ago, too."
