Ohio LB draws MAC invitations

Worthington (Ohio) Thomas Worthington linebacker Jeff McClain moved into the starting lineup the second half of his sophomore season. By the end of his junior season McClain had established himself as a Division 1 college prospect.
"I've got a bunch of stuff from recruiters," McClain said. "Ohio University, Akron, and Marshall all invited me to junior visitation days. I went to Akron and Ohio U."

The 6-foot-0 and 200-pound McClain, who registered eight sacks from his outside linebacker spot during his junior season, talked about his two visits.
"I really liked Akron's indoor practice facility," McClain said. "I liked it at Ohio too. I liked how everything was in one building."
There is a fourth MAC school McClain would like to hear from.
"I'd be interested in Miami of Ohio," he said.
McClain plans to take a further look at the MAC schools on his list.
"I'd like to go to Ohio's camp," McClain said. "I plan to go to Akron in July. And I plan on going to Marshall."
