Ohio junior wants to head South

Trotwood (Ohio) Madison junior defensive back Steve Allen, the 5-foot-11 and 175 pound younger brother of former Ohio State defensive back Will Allen, is a fine defensive back prospect in his own right.
However Steve Allen has battled the injury bug. He missed half his sophomore season with a broken elbow and virtually his entire junior season with a torn ACL in his right knee.
The good news is that Allen is 100% healthy once again and will run track in the spring, then be ready for his senior season on the football field.
"Some colleges are starting to send me mail," Allen said. "I'm not really sure right now which ones I like best.
"I'm not interested in the Big Ten schools too much. I like the ACC schools.
"I like Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Georgia Tech, I like the South. I like the weather down there, the different environment."
